Budgeting For the Wedding

Budgeting is one of the many tasks during wedding time which consumes a lot of time and requires a good knowledge base. To make things go in perfect order and to avoid fuss at the last moment perfect budgeting is of utmost importance. Even very minute things can create a lot of difference if they are not planned according to the budget. A good measured budget can save you from bankruptcy and make your wedding day a joyous one. A few tips given below shall help you to do the budgeting work more efficiently and with greater ease.

Step I: Always have the habit of jotting down the ideas as and when they creep into the mind. This helps you to remember those minute things which are often left behind unplanned in the chaos atmosphere prior to the wedding. Take a pen paper and write down all the items required for the wedding day.

Step II: Decide the amount of people to be called for the wedding day. The number of people greatly decides the amount of food to be consumed and thereby the sum total of all the expenses.

Step III: Differentiate between the constant and the variable expenses. Constant expenses are the ones that are fixed and mandatory for the wedding like the rent of the place where the wedding is to be held, the priests fees, the money for the wedding ring, money for the clothes and accessories, etc. Variables expenses include costs on food stuff, the pomp and show, the orchestra and the gifts to be given to the special guests.

Step IV: After the above mentioned steps are over the final step is the overhead estimation. One needs to move out to market to get proper understanding about the current prices of the items in order to properly estimate.
Thus with careful planning and budgeting, the wedding day can be a successful one.
